• Booking information, such as selected services, provider details, addresses, schedules, booking status, reviews, and support messages.
• Location information, such as saved addresses, service locations, approximate distance, and live tracking information when a booking requires it and permission is granted.
• Provider business information, such as business name, category, location, catalog listings, uploaded photos, offers, and payout method details.
• Payment-related records, such as payment status, transaction type, receipt references, refund records, and provider payout references.
• Device and usage information, such as app activity, diagnostics, preferences, notification settings, and analytics events.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to create and secure accounts, show relevant local services, process bookings, messages, reviews, payments, and refunds, share necessary service details between customers and providers, send important notifications, prevent fraud or unsafe activity, and improve app reliability and support.

3. Location Data

JuaMtaa requests location permission so customers can find nearby services, estimate distance, save service addresses, and share booking location with providers. Live location may be used during active bookings to help customers and providers find each other. Users can turn location permissions off in device settings, but some booking and map features may stop working.

4. Photos and Uploaded Content

Users and providers may upload images for profile photos, business listings, catalog items, or service evidence. Uploaded images are used to display listings, support bookings, and maintain marketplace trust.

5. Sharing Information

We do not sell personal information. We share information only when needed to run the service, including with customers and providers for bookings, with infrastructure providers such as Firebase, Supabase, Google Maps, analytics, notification, and hosting services, with payment processors or mobile money partners for payments and payouts, or when required by law or safety needs.

6. Data Storage and Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards to protect user data, including authenticated access, encrypted transport, role-based access controls, and secure cloud services. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we work to reduce unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

7. Data Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide JuaMtaa, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and maintain accurate booking and payment records. Users may request deletion of their account, subject to records we must keep for legal, safety, or transaction reasons.

8. User Choices and Rights

Users can update account, profile, notification, and privacy preferences, disable location permissions through device settings, request access, correction, export, or deletion of personal data, and uninstall the app to stop local app data collection from the device.

9. Children

JuaMtaa is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.

10. International Processing

Information may be processed and stored in countries where our service providers operate. We use appropriate safeguards when data is processed outside a user's country or region.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as JuaMtaa changes. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and may notify users in the app or through another appropriate channel.
